Jack Rosenberg
Sports Editor
For over four
decades, Jack Rosenberg
was a key member of the WGN Sports department. Although his voice
was rarely heard on-air, "Rosie" worked along side such
greats as Jack Brickhouse,
Vince Lloyd, Lou
Boudreau, Jack Quinlan
and Irv Kupcinet. He remains
a walking encyclopedia of Chicago sports teams and how WGN covered
them.
On September
7, 2004, Jack Rosenberg sat down with WGN Radio Sports Director
Dave Eanet to talk about his WGN Memories. Rosenberg traces his
career from his arrival at WGN as "a kid out of Peoria"
through his years in the Cubs and Bears booths. Click
