Career
Highlights:
- Two
socially prominent young Chicagoans and radio enthusiasts who
started the experimental station that would eventually become

- While driving
past the Wrigley Building, Jenkins decided it would be a good
location for a radio laboratory.
- About a week
later, Donnelley had assembled the equipment they would need to
build the station and construction began.
- Their early
programming consisted of talks, weather reports, and concerts.
- Following
storm damage at the Wrigley Building, they moved the operation
