Career Highlights:

  • Joined WGN in 1956.
  • Sportscaster, best known for WGN-TV work on Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks telecasts, but also was a backup announcer (along with Vince Lloyd) for Chicago Bears broadcasts on WGN Radio when either Jack Brickhouse or Irv Kupcinet were not available.
  • Announcer and sidekick on The Wally Phillips Show.
